We live in this world and face so many struggles, and yet we are afraid of leaving this world. Why? Due to ignorance. Why would we want to stay in this world? Because we are unaware that there is a better world. That is a hellish condition, a condition full of darkness.
The only sure thing in this world is death. But we spend our whole lives trying to be safe. Why? Because we don’t understand that the soul is eternal. We don’t understand that the soul is meant to serve God, not just try to survive as long as possible in this body. We should learn from the struggles of this world, that is is not a good place to be. we belong elsewhere, and our lives should be devoted to realising that place that we belong to.
